E115 Explosion proof
The E115 has been developed for applications where the direction of flow is an issue. Applications can be found by loading and unloading of ships where one bi-directional flowmeter is used. Another application is the correction of back-flow due to shocks in a pipeline caused by piston pumps or valve behavior. It is required to offer two pulse signals from the flowmeter which are 90° or 270° degrees out of phase.

- Function:Configurable outputs: scaled pulse output according to the bi-directional accumulated total, unscaled pulse input retransmission or switch output indicating the direction of the flow. Max. frequency: 500Hz. Retransmission: Minimum pulse duration: 50µs, Adjustable pulse length from 1 msec. Up to 10 seconds.
- Type: Two passive NPN transistors and two isolated electro-mechanical relays.

- Function: Re-transmitting the forward, reverse or differential flow rate. – the output can be scaled to any range (e.g. 200 L/min to 1200 L/min).
- Type: One galvanically isolated, loop powered 4 – 20mA output.
