Eddy Current Proximity Sensor
The Eddy Current Probes/sensors consist of a precision-wound copper coil inside a chemical- and temperature-resistant PEEK tip. Monitran proximity sensors are mounted on a threaded stainless-steel rod for easy gap adjustment or a flat, low-profile mount. They are supplied with 1m of integral over braided coaxial cable and operate up to 180˚C. The operating gap depends on the tip diameter. These eddy current sensors (proximity) can be used with any driver.
